Site Crew Volunteer
We are looking for enthusiastic and hands-on people who are keen to help out at one of Sydney's most exciting cultural events and to assist our Site Crew Team during the install, de-install, as well as the exhibition.
Days of work
Installation: Monday 15 October - Wednesday 17 October
Exhibition: Thursday 18 October - Sunday 4 November
De-Installation: Monday 5 November - Thursday 8 November
Tasks
Manning the entrance to the site and alerting the Site Manager and Site Crew Team to artists/others entering the exhibition site by walkie talkie;
General assistance with Site Crew needs;
Assisting with the install of sculptures when required;
Interacting and providing information with the other exhibition staff, volunteers and visitors to the exhibition; and
Working outdoors, meeting new people and having fun in the process.
Desired skills
Energetic, hands on people who like to give things a go, enjoy working outdoors and understand the term “the show must go on”;
Experience or a keen interest in the arts and/or event management;
